An Awesome Wave

Hey guys! I've decided to write a post today! Two consecutive posts in a row! Woot woot! Let us see how long this lasts. I thought I would show you guys one of my favorite bands at the moment;

These guys are amazing! Their music is so unique and instrumental, and I feel epic every time I listen to them when I'm on a walk or anywhere for that matter.
So far my favorite songs by them are Fitzpleasure and Dissolve Me.

Enjoy and cheers!

In like a lion

Well hello all! Again I fear it has been too long since I last updated this blog. And alas, I also fear that this is always how I start these blog posts. I unfortunately don't update this as much as I should but I never seem to have the time, and when I do, I completely forget about my poor blog. Maybe one of the issues for me in attempting to keep up with this is that I never know what to write about, then I go off and read and follow these fantastic blogs written by fantastic writers that are so stuffed full with the wisdom on the meaning of life that the ooey gooey philosophies seep slowly through the cracks and out from between the letters..... and then I catch the sudden inspiration at 10:27 at night surrounded by cold tea and the occasional blip of my Facebook notifications to actually write in here and I am struck with the realization that I have no flipping clue what to write and my writing feels childish and lack-luster and.... and.......
and so I am lost.
When I write on my own I am not lost at all.
Writing stories on my own I have the ideas and know what to say although I do catch the occasional writer's block.
When I write in my diary/journal/thing I know what to write because I can hear the personal thoughts echoing around my head and the memories of the day I need to record flab about like bats' wings.
Then I sit down at my computer to type a blog post and.....
Zilch.
Nothing.
Blah.
Well,  suppose I do have something to write, for you are reading it now, but it feels so lacking in meaning and interest that I just..... I just don't know.
I would treat this like a diary like some do but some things are too personal to share.....
Plus there's the fact that I am on the interwebs and there are some creepy people out there so I have to be careful about how much information I share about myself.
I would share my stories and poems that I write but the are still in the beginning processes and therefore are, I feel, unworthy to share as of this moment.
I would write about travel gladly but then soon I would run out of things to say because I am not, unfortunately, able to travel constantly since there is this little thing called money.... and school.
So, I need ideas on what to write about.
If I had some inspirational life story, this would be so much easier.
Well, we just finished reading Lord of the Flies in one of my classes so maybe that will provide some inspiration?
Or rants of sorts?
We'll see, but for now I must rest because I am TIRED of school and not getting sleep.
Goodnight, good morning, good morrow and cheers to all!

Outfit of the Moment- Sunset Western

I love fashion. I love style. I love putting together outfits.
If I had all the money in the world, a large sum of it would go towards clothes.
I know, kind of weird.
I promised myself when I was little that I wouldn't go all "girly-girl" and crazy when it came to hair, makeup, and clothes. But I can't help it. I love expressing myself , and one of the main ways to do that is through clothes.
I was bored today so I decided to put together an outfit.
I actually don't own any of the clothes featured in the outfit, except for the necklace, but if I had a bunch of money, I would by this outfit.
I made three parts;
Here ya go:

Part Numero Dos-

A Summer of Photos

Well, all things must come to an end eventually I suppose. And that is precisely what happened three weeks ago, when school began, and I found myself waving goodbye to freedom.
A summer of sleeping in until 11 finally slipped away.
The relaxed (and at one point, boring) calmness gave way to hustle and bustle as the school year started.
Now that I've slipped back into the routine of early A.M. wake-up calls and late afternoon homework, summer seems like a dream.

But unlike most dreams, in the reverie of summer, I was able to take photos. LOTS of photos. And while I can't share them all on here, I can share a few.

Well, so much for just a few! This barely even covers any of my summer! Oh well. Because I can't show it all in pictures, here are some of the main things I did this summer:

- I hiked 80 miles across Scotland!
-a few rafting trips
-Amazing Race camp
-attempt at flash mob (It just ended up being a Halloween in Summer type party)
- Teen Nights at the library

Stuff like that.

I went to Scotland for 2 weeks at the end of June/beginning of July. During those two weeks, we took five days and hiked 80 miles on the West Highland Way. The photos of Scotland above only really cover about the first three days of the trip. Well, actually, it barely even covers that. If I had uploaded all of the pictures I had taken, well, blogger would probably witness a horrific, crashing death due to data overload.
If you couldn't already tell, I love taking pictures. I wish I could bring my camera everywhere.

In Scotland, I took thousands of photos. THOUSANDS. I'm serious.

I wish I could show them all, but I can't.

I'll probably have more uploaded from time to time though.

If you guys want to see any more you are welcome to make a request.

Even though summer is over, I am looking forward to Fall and Winter.
Time to put away the shorts and break out some funky jeans!

Anyway, I hope that maybe one day I can get into a habit of posting everyday, although I doubt that will ever occur.

x Cheers! x
