Talent

Well, hello there! It's July! And I haven't posted for months.
Oops,
I did it again.
It seems that I have an impeccable talent for starting things, and never finishing/keeping up with them.
Although technically I'm keeping up with it again because look, I posted!
And I guess I'm kind of keeping up with the book I'm writing (which has more than two pages, for once)
And no, it's not the book I told you about in the last post. I haven't worked on that for awhile...... (guilt)
But, I did start a new one, and I'm actually getting some progress on it. Or at least, I was. I had it all mapped out in my head, and I still know what's going to happen.
But the question is,
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Yes, it appears that I have writer's block.
Not only that, but I still can't quite get the feel for who my main character is.
At first she was going to be this wise, quiet person, but that didn't really work out for some odd reason, then from there she went to being a nerd, then a stuck up snob, and now she's a mix of so many personalities that I am utterly confused.
She's like human mush.
Or better yet, a human smoothie.
It's like a mystery flavoured smoothie, one that starts out tasting exactly like strawberry, but then all of a sudden it's peach mango, and then it's blackberry and then, and then, and then..............
And then you're so confused and scared that you drop the smoothie and the glass shatters all over the floor and then you have to clean up that terrible mess.......
Okay, I'm getting off topic, but I think you get the point.

Ohh! By the way, I revamped the blog! I figured that my New July 18th Resolution should be to fix this thing up a bit.... so I did!

I also changed the name because I honestly had no idea what to call this thing when I first made it so I called it "Pirate De Chat" which I guess is alright even though the translation doesn't really make any sense.....
Well, it's called "The View" now because "The View From Here" was already taken and I didn't feel like copying because that's just wrong....
But the address is still the same!

And maybe I'll start posting on this lonely blog a little more often....
